I loved his songs, he made singing seem so easy. I even remember his television show. And wow, that big smile! Always was such a pleasure to hear his songs come on the radio. Such a brave man to make his fight with the disease public, to raise awareness.  Condolences to his family and friends.

We had the opportunity to attend a concert during his last tour in 2010 before he retired.

The Alzheimer's was evident then.  Between songs he had a teleprompter to help him stay on topic.  He seems a little confused as to what city he was in.  When he started to talk too long, the music would start and he would begin singing again.  His daughter was there to assist him.

Despite the Alzheimer's, Glenn could still perform with no problems.  We were most impressed when he put his guitar on top of his head and played William Tell's Overture... double time.  Amazing.

    We will miss him.

I saw him on one of the late night shows, as he was getting ready to go on that tour. One of the musicians with him on the tour was his son. So he had both a daughter and son with him. I was really touched by his going public and by his family helping him do one last, goodbye tour.

    Condolences to his family.
