ShaderMap no longer being developed?

It's been awhile since I have noticed any updates to ShaderMap and now the website seems to be offline.

Anyone here know if they are done or simply moving their webiste to another host?

Website isn't down at all, I just bought it, though their forum seems very quiet over the last year.

I am clicking on the Online Support button on the application and I get this when their website opens:

    "404 Not Found

The server can not find the requested page:

    shadermap.com/support/ (port 80)

Please forward this error screen to shadermap.com's WebMaster."

  • I'm gettting an "Invalid Certificate" error for that site in Firefox.

The only areas operational are the:

    http://shadermap.com/docs/

    http://shadermaptutorials.com/

Looks like they left those up.

  • The site is present and accounted for. Never heard of it. Now I know it's 49 bucks.

Sounds like an Internet problem, or they have a really really good cache provider.

They're using a mailto link, do you have something like Outlook installed? If not, that link points to [email protected]

That is what one of their pages displays when I go to their home page. Another one is:

    "SORRY!

If you are the owner of this website, please contact your hosting provider: [email protected]

It is possible you have reached this page because:"

I did a test with the Tor browser and thru a VPN. I get the same all the time. The only pages that I can access are the help pages.

I was just wondering if anyone heard anything. I guess only time will tell if they have stopped development of ShaderMap.

I downloaded a trial earlier, but I got a 'missing dll' error when I ran it and couldn't be bothered to pursue it. I still can't but I did just check where I'd been for the sake of this thread and instead of all the pages I'd seen I got a screen filled with the Firefox 'insecure connection' warning saying that the owner of the site had not configured it properly, just as daywalker03 says. Whatever the cause, it's a recent one - the site was perfectly fine when I visited it an hour or so before the thread was created.

Every link on the navigation bar worked for me (Chrome).
