How to stream Daz Studio work w/ OBS? (or other program)

Hi there,

A friend wants me to do an art stream with them, but despite some fiddling with OBS, I can't get the viewport to show up in the stream. The rest of the DS interface comes up just fine, but nothing but a blank background will show in the viewport, not even the grid lines you get with an empty scene.

Any advice would be appreciated! I know people -have- streamed Daz Studio stuff before, so I'm sure I'm just missing something. I'm trying to connect to Picarto, and I'm using the Window Capture mode in OBS. (I tried using Game Capture, but that instantly crashes Studio.)

Thanks,

-A

You need to use Display Capture, not Window Capture. I made the same mistake myself.

Is there a way around this? I only have one monitor and I'd prefer not to use Display Capture so people don't see when I'm googling for references or I get distracted by something shiny >.>

    Not that I'm aware of.
