Legacy UVs for Genesis 8: Victoria 4 question

jakibluejakiblue Posts: 7,281

I don't have any of Cayman Studios products, and I know NOTHING about geograft thingys, so I'm curious about this product: https://www.daz3d.com/legacy-uvs-for-genesis-8-victoria-4

Once you apply it, can you use any of the iray converters on the skins to get them looking good in iray? Such as, V3digitimes iray converter or even dimension-z's NGA Anagenessis 2 Revolution?

I have two of Cayman Studios UV products. You need to apply any shaders to the skin first (on the character it was made for), save it as a material preset, and then you can use the UV product.

Shader products don't know how to read the geographs as normal body material zones, from what I've experienced.

So...I'd load V4, apply her skin, apply the iray converter to it, save it and then use the SAVED preset as the skin to apply on G8?

I take it that's the same as the other ones, like the Victoria 3 one?

I saw in the email promo, "V4 skins on Genesis 8." That just didn't sound right...

V3digitimes iray converter for Generation 4 has worked for me when I apply it  on the figure after I've applied the geograph
