It has been argued that the feathered wyvern is a precursor to modern birds. The Raptor is a fierce arial hunter, whose feathered wings make it the fastest of all dragon species.

    I know you say fierce, but I'm also going to have to go with adorable. I didn't think I was going to get any more dragon stuff for a while, but don't think I'm going to be able to resist this guy. Great work.

    That face!! He is as cute as a puppy.

    I love that you went with feathers as current dinosaur research makes it seem feathers would be a natural for big reptiles like dragons.

    As an aside, the textures/feathers look decent on a wyvern, and I'm thinking some combination of raptor+wyvern might be cool... will do that tomorrow. ;)

    I was inspired by the new looks they have to the feathered dinosaurs, so I worked from alot of photos of raptors and such, but throwing in a few more bird like features...and somehow it came together as being cute LOL

    Here's 100% Raptor and 50% wyvern. I LOVE the raptor as-is, but fun to see how it can mix.

    I figure Raw doesn't mind wyvern experimental crossbreeding given wyverdreki is ALSO from RawArt. ;)
