Please Submit a Technical Support Ticket to Get HD Export Fixed

The only resolution (pun intended), to this is to follow the advice of Richard Haseltine and we all collectively submit a ticket as per his instructions...

FBX (or your format) Export Geometry at SubD resolution

    I have not personally tried to export HD morphs via FBX but don't you have to select the actual HD morph you are using via the morph filter in the FBX export dialogue? I know even non-HD morphs won't export unless you add a filter for the morphs in the list of exportable morphs.

    Now it would be better if DAZ on their FBX export dialogue they had a radio button or popup dialogue that allowed you to select or not select the list of morphs to export instead of having to figure out the sometimes bizarre names they have and then write regular expressions to include or exclude morphs from the FBX export. That is far too programmerly a style task for your average consumer.

    I second this feature and I suppose should pull my finger out and submit a ticket too instead of just not buying HD stuff cheeky

    Please don't canvass for support - requests from people as part of a lobbying effort are unlikely to advance the cause and may hinder it.

    Hi Richard, you mean after 3 years I can delay the effort longer by having others make the same request?

    Your original suggestion was right on the money and nothing for Daz to be afraid of doing if they want to sell a lot more HD models, going HD without Normal Maps makes the models almost useless for Games Development if the HD can't be exported.

    A few of us kept on putting up requests to get the original FBX exporter fixed of many bugs and it eventually got close, that was about 5 years ago and it took about 7 years of making the requests, so I am patient.

    Hopefully, we can get the win / win on this one too.

    Ps this is not just for games, it is for all artistic applications and VR / AR is getting bigger, but it won't be done in DAZ Studio, with all due respect.

    edit: I think I mixed up HD morphs and geocrafts
    Anyway: my point was that I stopped buying HD morphs, because I cannot export them.
