Did Dzfire make crates that have the text locked onto the surface of every crate or is there some setting or material choice that removes the text?

TEXT that I can't remove is a problem and No, I don't want to do it in post. lol

I have no idea why a PA would do this- does it fit in with the rest of his products?

I don't remember the marine thing on anything I've ever grabbed from his library.

hmmmm....confused...

Or maybe I own stonemason crates and this is a different line of crate releases.....

And his FIRST.....?

Am I bonkers?

If it is on the texture should take a few seconds to edit the texture in photoshop or gimp. I agree though, there should be an option with no text

And long as we're here. Sorry to even ask.....but is it artistic license to make this product look like a child's toy or is this

scaled as a child's toy and this is a tiny prop? Sounds silly, but what's the human scale to this release?

I feel silly asking, but this is actually off-putting since I want to see humans next to this....lol

I think that's called a J-Card and don't know if he's being clever or such...

Looks like a train set prop. I'd like this if it's HUGE and a cool rig for sci-fi renders etc...

That product was released 9 years ago.  I very much doubt if anyone will update the promo images now.

The Dystopian Heavy Hauler loads scaled for V4/M4 et al. This version was severely scaled down to fit the (free, I believe) blister-packs. Heavy Hauler may be 9-years along, but still loads and plays well with D|S 4.9x. I believe you'll find that all the products in the Team Dystopia line are, if anything, overly detailed and are easily converted to Iray.

Nightshift has been labelling his military-styled models with U.C.M. or United Colonial Marines since the M3 Major Cache/ Major Upgrade days. While it does require editing the original textures, it's not difficult.

It was the same size as normal figures so maybe the image is a promo for a different version of the same line of products.

I liked the default material(s) and don't always see a need for that highly reflective iray surface look. It's pretty mat-ish and cool.

But now, I do wish tehre was a control/morph to raise the landing legs and as always, I wish there was a version with wheels.

Quite a bit of my items are Colonial Marines, it has been a theme from the start. If need be, I can get you a copy of the non-texted texture maps of the crates. Just PM me with your order number and email.

For the Heavy Hauler, the promos were to fit in with Mobious' Dystopian theme of "City in a Box". So, the vehicles were packed the same way, sorta :D These are full scale figures with moving parts rigged and still look good in Daz Studio and Poser.

Sorry, DzFire, must have been a senior moment.

There are morph sliders for the landing legs, If I remember correctly the morphs are visible if you select the main Heavy Hauler directory. There are also sliders for doors and swing-out engines. I believe that the original plan for the Team Dystopia vehicles was more a hover (think maglev) rather than high-altitude flight.

It is full scale. Two of the variants in this image.
