DAZStudio not opening but listed in TaskMgr?

Hi, anyone run into this.

I start DAZStudio but it doesnt apear but I check on TaskMgr and it is listed as running (no error messages).

I set it to high priority but no effect.

The only solution is to reboot the machine (NOT a real solution)

My system has plenty of capacity to run this app:

  Two Zeons (16 cores)

  32gig ram

  Win64bit

    have you tried re-installing Daz Studio? Something may have gotten corrupted.

    In Task Manager under Applications try right clicking on Studio, if it is there and showing as Running, and in the Dropdown Menu choose Maximize. That sometimes works for me when an Application is running but disappears.

    Its listed as running but there is no icon to maximise (already tried that one.)

    DS seems to be a three state application, YES, NO and MAYBE?

    As for it corrupting itself and having to re-install when it happens, if this app is that flaky I may as well ditch it.

    Did you install an upgrade while D|S was still open?

    if it is showing as running it should show up in here and if you right click on it the drop down menu has the option to max or min the application.

    Hmmm

    Seems to do this if I close it and then re-open it from the top right X icon.

    But is okay if I choose the Exit option from under File.

    I'll just not use the X icon any more as that doesnt close the app correctly.
