Clothing Latching onto hands?

How exactly is the tolerance for clothing controlled? Lately my character's clothing has been stretching off of their bodies and wrapping around any arms/hands that are too close to their shirts. Any way to town that down? Thanks.

    I think it's a Collision Detection thing.

Select the clothing, then under Parameters/Mesh Smoothing there's a slider for Collison iterations. Try decreasing this. Not guaranteed it will help though, maybe you'll have to turn it off. The best might be to move the character's limbs further away from the clothing.

Worst case scenario, there's easy trick of loading a second skin tight article of clothing onto the figure, rendering it invisible (cut-out opacity or opacity to zero in iray/3DL respectively, and making that the collision object rather than the figure itself.  That way the clothes don't interact with the hands at all (or whatever other body part) at all.  The Genesis Supersuit and the G2F Ultra Suit are great choices for this, as they each cover the entire body, have hands clear versions and have over a hundred shaping morps that can be used to puff out the cuffs, square the shoulders, etc., of the clothing items they're colliding with.  Rndall Lloyd did a great video on this a while back at
