What does "remaining download" means?

in The Commons

I've visited the page https://www.daz3d.com/downloadable/customer/products

and I see that the items have either 5 or 4 remaining downloads... what does it mean? If I change 5 pc then I lose my daz library?

    At one point we used to have a given number of downloads awailable before we had to reset the download link (that was free, no content loss).

    Rather that you can download the same file as many times you want, at any time. You have always been able to download all day long, in the past though there was a limit to how many times each file could be downloaded before it had to be reset (and AFAIR before the reset was introduced only 5 times in every 3 months or something).

    I don't know how you managed to find that page,   The normal page for donwloading manuall is this one    https://www.daz3d.com/downloader/customer/files

    Wow, that's cool.  The old download page is still up, and shows your new items.

    After checkout of an order, you are presented with a page that shows your receipt and a link to the "old download page"...  :)
