What should I put in "Aspect Ratio (Global) to have this ratio -> 2.35:1?

If the field won't take two decimal places you could try putting in 235 and 100?

Edit to Add: Actually I just tried it - it will take up to three decimal places, so you can just type in 2.35 and 1.0

7:3 is roughly the same as 2.35:1   So you could do 700x300, for example.  or 2100x900.  You get the idea.

EDIT: Or just do what MelanieL suggested!

    W: 2.35      H: 1
Basicly what the aspect ratio is saying is that your width is 2.35 times larger than your height

Do what everybody said above, but you will need to change Constrain Proportions (Global) to Off first. It is the button right below the area you highlighted in your attachment.

Constain proportions keeps the aspect ratio that you set.
For example if you have your aspect ratio set at 16:9 and you type in a vertical pixel size of 1080 it will auto populate the horizontal resolution to 1920, then if you type in 1600 for horizontal it will auto populate 900 into the vertical resolution.

  • Thanks to all the answers. 16:9  it's more heightest than 2.35:1?

16:9 is the same shape as most TVs and computer monitors nowdays.  4:3 is the shape of most old TVs and monitors.
The closer you get to 1:1 the more square the area will be.
As the first number gets bigger in realtion to the second number the wider the area becomes.
As the second number gets bigger in relation the taller it gets.

All in all it is just a math problem.  16:9 is the same as 16/9 = 1.778  Or 1.778:1
The 2.35:1 ratio you are listing looks more like something you would see on a theatrical movie
For example Star Wars The Force Awakens is presented in 2.4:1
Jurassic World is an even 2:1

The 16:9 has more pixels in the height than 2.35:1 if that is what you mean.

    16: 9 1000 pixels wide x 562 pixels high = Widescreen

    2.35:1 1000 pixels high x 425 pixels = Anamorphic Scope
