Need help i might have broken something when playing shader mixer and mdl directory manager

Need help, i played with shader mixer and mdl directory manager and i think i broke something. (maybe)

My light presets: omnifreaker uber area light base and other uber area lights doesnt work.
My shader presets: nvidia mdl examples, doesnt work, shader mixer samples, doesnt work, and those new vmaterials(nvidea) i downloaded
doesnt work. Haven't tested everything else (many shader works stil) . So dont know how bad the problem is. So this is what i have been doing lately.

I was trying to instal shaders: (IRAY vMaterials for DAZ Studio Part 5 from sharecg) and downloaded
nvidia_vmaterial_v1.4.exe. I downloaded the exe fully, ass it was needed and then i copied it from C:\Users\(user)\Documents\mdl to
(C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4\shaders\iray\nvidia) didnt even move it just copied it (having doubble files are not usually a bad thing).

Then i moved to shader mixer and i put base paths in mdl directories as follows: c:\program files\daz 3d\dazstudio4\shaders\iray\nvidia\vmaterials and
c:\programdata\nvidia corporation\mdl

dont have anything else in mdl directory manager. Should there be more?
What are standard paths so i can try them?.
Mayby it will fix the problem. Can i reset shader mixer?
In the tree, daz default material, there is only 2 bricks, should there be more?,
dont know, havn't used shader mixer before (never needet it before).
I have seen more complicated trees there so mayby my problem is there.

Shader mixer and mdl directories is the only plase, where i can see the problem being, havn't done anything else that might cause it
and i noticed something was different when i was trying to continue my normal render projects shortly after that noob shader download try.
(same day) Lights were different in my projects. I tryed to reset them and started testing uberarealight base and shaders and
notised something was wrong. They didn't work. I remember that my daz 3d library (content library down left) jumped when i put those bese paths in
mdl directories, so it did do something then. Point in time when my noobines broke the world, mayby :)

So need help, i'll hope i dont have to re-instal whole daz, (updatig and re-instaling daz is on pending while i'm  wating to get new computer), I haven't deleted anything from hard drive so it should all be still there. Some easy command might do the trick.

Alternative reasons to this problem that i can think of might be that vmaterials 1.4 exe. Mayby somekind of bug.
Or mayby windows update is to blame. After windows update i had to resign in look at my hair.
So maybe this one is also becorse of windows. Dont think so however, my projects worked fine, after update.

I didn't use uber bases or shader, only continued my old projects but lights worked normally after update.
So cant be sure and that is perhaps small mayby for windows update.

I would be extremely grateful for any help to this problem. Those vmaterials shaders arent really priority (i'm actually little shamed when someone do hard job for free and i cant even follow simple directions to make things work, well i can try them again when i'm not stupid)
but i definitely need uberarea lights and other standard shaders.

these were the orginal direction by the way

*********IMPORTANT DO EXACTLY THE FOLLOWING**********

Once you have vMaterials installed you need to get the base MDLs to be recognized by DazStudio

Move the vMaterials folder from its default location (\Users\(user)\Documents\mdl)
to your defalt DazStudio installation (C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4\shaders\iray\nvidia)
You should notice  abunch of other MDL files here. This is NOT your Content Library this is located under program files!!!)
(IF you did not install DazStudio to its default location your location may be diferent)

Second place the products in this ZIP file in your DAZ3D Library like you would any other item.
Third open your shader mixer in DazStudio and then use Edit > MDL Directory Manager and select
C:\ProgramData\NVIDIA Corporation

This should cover all your MDLs being detected by DAZStudio

Installing content to the application folder should not be needed - you can place the MDL files anywhere as long as you add the path to the MDL directory list. The default Shader Mixer layout, and the omniFreaker Uber lights, are for 3Delight not Iray - do the uber lights still work if you switch the render engine to 3Delight?

Ok there is conversation abouth this same problem here https://direct.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/166876/iray-1-3-0-vmaterial-library-for-d-s

Still needing answer for my problem, its most likely that mdl directory. I have 4.8 version daz, so does updating in to 4.9 help and perhaps fix the problem or will it copy it self to next version. I rather not do it, my content library is the most epic mess in the whole planet, but for some reason it stil works. (I have everything doubble, while back it felt like a good idea rearrange my content, well it wasn't) :) I would like to install 4.9 in completely new computer, this one have only 2 prosessors core and grafic card is equally impressive.

Thank you Richard Haseltine, it seams i only panicked. Uber lights works perfectly. Like a noob i have been using uber lights in both iray and 3delight, i jump

back and forth between them and for some reason i have thought uber lights work in iray like other light shaders. That explains a lot.  So in my projects  light must have been coming mostly from infinity sphere.  Luckily in iray indoor scenes i haven't used them (only in 3delight). So resettin my render settings are to blame my lighting proplems.  Dont really understant infinity sphere, some times light coming from it is perfect in standard settings and when doing same scene later light might be coming from different location even if i havent moved it and manually moving it back to previous position is hard.

Yep, it seems when noobs do something/anything, problem can usually be located from their noobines not from actual problem, if there even is one to begin with. :)

So it seems my only real problem is to get those nvidia vmaterials to work. I'll get there some day :)

    Thanks again.

    mahhen,
is this issue resolved or no?

The vMaterials are iRay only, so if your rendering in 3Delight then they wont work. 3Delight uses Pixar's Renderman Shading Language language and iRay uses the NVIDIA Material Definition Language.
I know a few people have been having soem issues getting these up and working, so don't feel bad. but the good news is once they are set up and workign then your set.

The reason I have been suggesting the vMaterials folder gets moved into Program Files and pointing the MDL directory to the defauly MDL Exchange locaiton is because when I set up MDL in Daz Studio, it appears that it doresnt allow multiple location. I may be wrong but the user interface makes it appear you can only set up one diferent locaitons , but have to select one to use. The idea was to place the vMaterials library in an area that appears t be a built in location and leave the MDL exchange in its default locaiton. It i smy understanding that vMaterials may make calls on the MDL exchange files internally so I didnt want to move them. Hey I am sort of figuring this out myself.
