Is there a way to save a character as a static prop?

I created a character with G3M.  I was wondering if there was a way to save the character as a static prop.  I would like to pose the character then save it so that all the posing, morphs, etc. would be frozen so that it acts like any other prop, i.e. a chair or table, where there are no morphs or poses.  Is this possible?  I searched for this question, and hadn't found anything.

under the Edit, Figure menu, there is an option under there to convert figure to prop. removes the rigging.

  • You could try exporting as an OBJ. I do this sometimes if I am planning on having lots of figures in the background of a render. I'll create my character, dress him, give him hair, pose him, make sure all the textures are right doing a test render, and then export him as an OBJ file. Then I repose the figure, possibly change textures and morphs for variety, and export as an OBJ again. I make sure to name all these files something useful like "Bystander1," "Bystander2" and so forth in a folder that's easy to find. To use these props, just use the 'Import OBJ" function.

The one weird occassional bug I've encountered is that sometimes the eye textures don't load properly when I load my OBJs into a scene.

Thank you Mistara, Mighty Mysterio, and Cholole for your responses.  after I posted this I discovered the export/import option suggested by MIghty Mysterio.  I'll give the suggestion Mistara gave a look, and I'll look at the link Chohole gave and decide wich I like better.  Again thank you!
