Im happy for you, but 50% meh!
No to chime in, but they've been on sale quite a few times in recent weeks.
What's left that hasn't been grabbed from one of the previous campaigns?
I'll look diligently, but...we'll see....
Now, now those previous bundles is nothing to scoff at.
Seeing how long I can go without doing laundry....
AND wait a minute....I take that back...oh my...
Speaking of Laundry, Think there is some laundry props in the store.
Hopefully the money will come in today and also my new video card will work with my old dell so maybe I can get some pro bundles I missed.
With the 50% discount and my Platinum membership and using the 6 dollar coupon that comes with the membership for Daz Origonals
Total cost after taxes for me was 12.97,
12.97 for TerraDome 3 which at full cost is at 59.95, I would say that is a very sweet deal
I just remembered how expensive the pro bundles are and how little my check is so maybe a new base figure for genesis 3 would be a better fit for my budget.
I agree, Those Pro Bundles are Sweet too. I have been looking them over too. Dont think my shopping is over yet.
Little check came in but now to decide what to get with it.
Let us know if you pick something out?
Okay will do. When can I start using the PC coupon?
The May or April one? I already used my April one.
50% off and using the coupon really cuts the cost. You can get a really good deal, Has to be the Platinum Club Daz Origional coupon for it to work
I dont think the May coupon is even out yet, If you have already used Aprils coupon, It is too late for the coupon but you still get a good deal, PC membership plus 50% off, I think that is more than Half, Hope Im right about that. This sale is only for this weekend
Try the other coupon, I dont know but it might work
I'm eyeing the Measure Metrics product (a Daz original on sale) but forum discussions make it appear as if it is either buggy or difficult to use. I don't really know my way around the program very well yet so I don't want to get anything over my head. Has anyone here used it and, if so, what is your experience. I haven't even used scripts yet, though I will learn how to. I would just prefer to play with things that work out of the box in the beginning, until I get a handle on the program and cant tell when something isn't working due to user error versus the product etc.
Measure Metrics, for measuring things, is easy to use. Figure Metrics, the included script and presets for getting vital-statistics for a Genesis # figure, is also easy to use to read values off; the step that can cause confusion is assigning morphs to measutrenments so that Figure Metrics can adjust the settings to approach a set of target values, if possible.
Ok so I I wanted to use it to figure out the relative heights of various characters, it would be easy. And if I need one to be say 5'6, and another 6', I would avoid difficulties by using the regular morphing functions rather than using Figure Metrics to do it. I hope that makes sense, I'm far from up to par with Daz lingo, lol
And a ton of $1.50 items! Back up the truck...
True. Might forget the centaur and get the jester outfit and textures and gift card sale thingie instead.
Have you picked anything yet? Just a reminder, Sundays is the last day for this sale. I have to go back window shopping and look everything over again, Just can't make up my mind
Not yet but I have a daz gift card waiting to be used.
Edit thinking of getting SciFi starter bundle just to get liquid halo on sky 16 for Victoria 3 to be put on g3f with wear them all. The bundle appears cheaper than the outfit
Sometimes it works out that way. I remember a bundle one time that had one item I did not own yet. I had everything else in the bundle. It was cheaper to order the bundle than the one item I wanted. It really helps to watch these sales and keep track of what items in your wishlist go on sale.
Don't leave it too long; they do expire. Turn it into store credit and it'll only run out when you spend it.
Okay I turned it into store credit.
On Measure Metrics, I did grab that product. If you are worrying about exact sizing, it can be useful to see how long various joint sections are and size of the overall model is, and if you sweat proportions (34-24-35 for example) it's nice to know where you are at proportion wise.
As for using it, I find that it tends to clutter up your joint/body region subsections though (as if you didn't have enough subsections there already). So I tend to load Measure Metrics onto a figure just long enough to get the base dimensions right, then remove the Measure Metrics parameters (MM comes with a content library option to do this, but sometimes it misses one or two added metrics, you can delete those manually later if they bother you).
So I find it somewhat useful, but most of the time I'm only using it as a measurement check after I've dialed the figure in pretty much where I want it, if I'm trying to match up various figures size wise.
There's this tape measure widget in my Daz install which I THINK came with Measure Tetrics, but I've never gotten the hang of using it. It may have been there before though.
A quick note. The Stonemason sale can increase the 50% on Daz Originals to 60% (1/5th of 50% is 10%) (non PC+ items) , IF you by the Downtown Loft: Living Area. Of course, that's showing up in my cart as $27.97, so unless you need the loft or are stocking up on Daz Originals, or want some of the other Stonemason sale featured items (better discount for those with the loft, I'm showing a 61% discount for the evening gown, $7.82 in my cart with the loft included in the cart), it may not be worth chasing the extra 10%.
I see the new coupons but cannot use them yet.
