[Fixed] Windows on Polish's Subway Train are doing, like, a mirror thing?

Okay, this is driving me nuts. I'm setting up a scene inside Polish's Subway Train and, try as I might, I cannot get the windows to act like windows! They behave like mirrors, reflecting the interior of the train. Some reflection I am fine with, as that is what actual windows do, but I want the windows to look out to an exterior backdrop. I have the backdrop all set up, but no amount of surface tweaking has allowed it to show through the windows. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks :)

Lowering cutout opacity on the glass material? As a quick guess, let me check...
...that's odd. For me the prop loads with transparent windows. I can see the outside, albeit, when rendering with scene lights only, the outside is harder to see.
Did you convert the materials? The window material is tagged with "Glass slightly frosted", there is a default iray shader with that name, you might want to try it out.
Edit: I can see the outside on the windows in the back, only the doors seem to be affected.
Iray, right? Select the windows in the surface tab, make sure "Thin Walled" setting is ON. Try that.
Yes, Iray. I turned "Thin Walled" on, getting really excited (as that was the one thing I haven't tried yet, lol), but no difference. I don't want to mess with the cutout opacity too much because that would remove any natural window reflections as well. But just for the heck of it, I changed cutout opacity to 0, and now something really weird is going on outside the windows. It looks nothing like my backdrop... more like the rusty pits of Hades. Environment mode is Scene Only.
Well, it looks like a Thin Walled thing. Glass can have wierd effects with Thin Walled OFF (hair dissapearing, etc). All I can think of now is to double check and make sure there isnt another surface layer of window, perhaps, that also needs Thin Walled turned on. Either that or try another glass shader maybe. Oh, hey, try checking the metalocity setting for the windows. Try turning that down if it has a high setting.
What is refraction set to, glass often has it set to 100.
Hi scorpio, for all the glass surfaces the Refraction Index is 1.55 and Refraction Weight is 1.00. The "pits of Hades" thing was something weird going on with my backdrop. I fixed the backdrop and played around with the surface settings some more. To be honest I have no idea what the original problem was but the windows look fine now. Thanks for all your help, guys!
