Harness question

Anyone who knows where the harness used here (looks like DAZ Horse 2) is from?

You can sownload the harness (a freebie offered by 3djoji on his website. The second sownload link says "For downloading the Harness, click here". Just clock the link...

    Good luck! ;)

That one is for Tumbleweed (which I don't think is the promo horse). Will it fit the DAZ horse or is there another harness somewhere?

You're right, it's not the same one, and it doesn't look like it can be made to work for any of the DAZ horses (tried but gave up).

There is a sleigh with harness at Rendo though:

    https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/?ViewProduct=83191

I was playing a bit with it some years ago trying to get it to work with DAZ Horse 2 with some success, but it wasn't easy (picture below). It also lacks the straps necessary to pull the carriage (not absolutely necessary but I prefer things "work" correctly as in real life).

Then there is these, but they're for DAZ Horse 1 and HiveWire horse:

I'd still like to know where 3DJoji got the one for the Tilbury Mood though, looks like it works perfectly for DAZ Horse 2.

    nice looking harness there Taozen

Yes, but it's too loose - it's difficult to adjust to fit tight to Horse 2. Would be nice with one specifically made for it with conforming morphs etc...

    There's also this one BTW:

so sorry to join here, the harness used in the promo of the tilbury is a project unfinished (I've never finished because of the numbers of morphs to make and at that time, my work list was full). it seems that some people talk about this universal harness for some monthes and I put it back in the work list; I hope it will be soon availlable.

That would be fantastic.  We need a really nice harness.  :)

BTW, didn't the Gypsy Wagon used to be sold here?  Now it's at HW.

Making a harness is really  really tough....It needs to fit the horse, with all possible morphs, it needs to be parented to the carriage and the bridle parented to the driver's hands....I tried it way back when with a stagecoach and chuck wagon, I had to give up and model the horses to fit the carriage. If anyone can do it, I trust 3djoji... I've seen him do amazing rigging tricks...Like the treads on his tank...Totally amazing rigging work!

The gypsy wagon sold here is still here. It's in the PC+ collection. Along with at least one morph and a number of texture add-ons.

The one at Hivewire is a different waggon from a different artist.

The harness in the Tilbury promo looks like the same harness as Tumbleweed's, but then I suspect it was made specifically for the promo and not rigged.

Are you referring to this wagon?

I couldn't find it because I was looking for Gypsy Wagon, not World Travels.

    Thx!

Even if it has the same design basis, the harness of the tilbury promo is not the one of the tumbleweed (which has bones) and is a completely new modeling, well rigged (by transfer of the horse2 weight) but incompletely morphed. The main problems of the harness for the horse2 is the neck-head couple which required so much progressive morphs to keep it in the right place. For instance that position was the one that decided me to give away... now, I put it back in my work list.

Well even if it doesn't work well for extreme poses it would still be great to have for a simple "horse pulling a carriage" pose.
