DAZ Studio rendering empty scenes, and viewport slow in iRay mode

Everything was working fine yesterday. But today, when the viewport is in iRay mode, moving the camera around is REALLY sluggish. Using a GTX Titan X. I'm using Blend Interactive to Render Settings. Interactive isn't too bad, but it renders incorrecty (intersections seem to be wrong in certain parts). Also, it's rendering 5000 iterations in the viewport when it's an empty scene. It allocated 848MB on the video card for this. Using driver 381.65.

edit: It's actually sluggish moving the camera around with an empty scene when the viewport is in iRay mode.

    I had never used the Blend Interactive View but I just tried it & the camera was very sluggish with just a naked G3 loaded.

    I usually have Photoreal mode for the viewport & for me that is not slow  & I only have a GTX 1080 - I also have driver version 381.65

    If I remember correctly the viewport and rendering modes of iray have to match to avoid conflicts. So both interactive or both photoreal. Also check the log to see if it reports any error.

    Using photoreal in Draw Settings is really choppy for me. However, "Blend to Photoreal" work ok-ish. I now only have two problems:
     

    1. iRay renders 5000 iterations in the viewport no matter what... even on an empty scene.

    2. "Rendering Converged Ratio" at 95% is all grainy when doing a proper render.

    I found that if I use "Scene Only" or "Dome and Scene" and there's no light in the scene, it's choppy in the viewport. But if I add a light or use "Dome Only" or "Sun and Sky", it works fine. The two problems listed above are still there though.

    Do you mean that the Smart Content pane is not showing anything, or that you can't find the area that should be showing products?

    Hi - I had the same problem - I backdated my Graphics Card Diver - Nvidia K2200 x 2

    I'll try rolling back my video driver.
