Constraining Rigidbody or object to Spline
Hello,
Is there the possibility of following an object in a rail (spline).
So when I want to move it can not get out of the way of the rail.
Attention, I do not speak of animation but of constraint of movement.

If the rail is circular you can do that by moving the item's centrepoint to the middle of the circle and just use the Y-rotation. For an arbitrary path, however, I don't think there's a way to do that precisely - straights and arcs might be doable, at least for a limited number, by offsetting the centrepoint by a ling to a master control linked to the translation but that would be very complex to set-up (at best).
Thank you Richard for this answer.
I have found this, but I have not yet tried it, I wonder if this could serve.

Hi Richard, I know I stumbled across how to change an object's center point a while back but I can't seem to locate that thread. Would you please refresh my memory on how to do it?
The centre point can be edited with the Joint Editor tool - that's its default action.
Thank you
I also realized I could do the equivalent to a "freeze transform" by repositioning an object then exporting it as an .obj and then reimporting it into Daz Studio so now I'm set.
