What's the deal here?

Is Vanishing Point coming to DAZ? Check these out: https://www.daz3d.com/vanishingpoint#

None of the product pages have purchase buttons and I can't find readme's or release dates.

    Cool, I shop their store at rendo and at their site, so I like it. Hopefully it isn't a buyout like RDNA, that would suck.

    Odd that two of the three are for programs completely off the map from Studio/Poser, or any program with a connection to DAZ. Although there are items in the shop already for Vue.

    Wavefront format files can be imported into DAZ Studio, but I'm not sure if ones for 3DS Max can be directly.

    Huh. It looks like the two non-Poser/DAZ items have been pulled from the VP store.

    I used to keep seeing 3DMax freebies, and some of them looked very nice. But have never found a way to get them into Studio.

    If they're in the proprietary MAX format, the only program that can load them is 3DSMAX. There is also a .3ds file export format, which can be fairly easily converted to .obj format and imported to D|S, but be aware there are a good few wrong ways to export a .3ds file. They'll all load perfectly back into 3DSMAX, but no other program will work.

    That said, the VP castle looks very nice. I think I might have a use or three for it.

    that'd be cool seeing vp here got one of their products that was sold here Tyranobot was actually the main sale promo item then the creator and product disappeared from here but it's on the vp site

    I got Tyranobot on sale at the other place...it's really great...BUT SO BIG!!!! my tests using it was bigger than the HDRI background I was using with it!
