If you have GenX, you might also want to consider RawArt's other Dwarfology: https://www.daz3d.com/raw-dwarfology Seven heads and seven bodies each for male and female. There's a lot of mixing and matching you can do.
Also this one by Smay: https://www.daz3d.com/dwarf-creator-for-genesis-2-male-s Between these (assuming you transfer them to Genesis 3), you could make all sorts of interesting charcters.
I really like today's gift. I'm already getting a few ideas for renders, if I ever spend any time online not reading and posting on forums. ;-) The main promo image reminds me of some local fairs I went to in my youth. There was a sideshow a few times, and one year there was a bearded lady. She was very pleasant, which can't always be easy since people are paying to see her as some sort of oddity rather than as a person. She was sitting on a stool wearing a bikini, so it was obvious that if she was fake, someone spent a lot of time putting body hair all over her; she had about as much body hair as I currently do (I'm 58, she was probably in her early twenties at the time, this was probably 45 years ago). She had a really nice figure, as I remember, the body hair wasn't thick enough to hide that.
I know I'm rambling, but it was interesting to talk with someone who was a bit different from the little box my life had been enclosed by up 'til then. One other year I met the Grady Stiles, The Lobster Boy; you can look him up easily online, I don't want to derail the thread any more than I already am. And the Batmobile from the TV show.
But, on to finish my housework and get to rendering. The bearded lady awaits!
Eh, it's free, and I alway prefer something deliberately rigged for the base model as opposed to run through autofit. (Don't get me wrong, I love autofit, but there's less chance of a loose vertex if it's actually been refit properly)
Heck, I initially bought the Leandros package specifically for the beard. Glad this will let folks get it free. :)
Seems a stretch to me, but I'm an oldster... I still remember "the bearded lady" as a carnival staple on many of those old black and white tv shows I watched as a kid... Consequently, the DAZ product of the same name just made me laugh, and feel a bit nostalgic... And of course, I "bought" it immediately!
Might try to see if it will autofit to Elijah 7?
Seems like a stretch to me too, and I have a transgender person in my immediate family, I'm not just talking out my butt. But then everyone's different and some people will take offense to things that others have no problem with. I highly doubt it was meant in any negative way, Daz is an exceptionally welcoming and inclusive place, I've been there and met them all, they're good people.
Unless you don't have the Leandros beard. ;)
Hubby went what the heck! I said it Ithink it's a joke but it's free so why not. I have the perfect render planned but I need to shop for a few goodies to go with him/her, like a baseball bat, lol. I think someone at Daz has a great sense of humor and may have watched 52 first dates recently.
Well, if it's a refit, then the colors from the original ought to work on it, right?
Yep. And they do :) I did check ... after I looked at the texture map and saw AprilYSH's note about the texture being for the Leandros beard. :)
I don't suppose anyone grabbed the promo images before it got yanked from the store?
One promo you can get from the Product library: https://www.daz3d.com/downloader/customer/files#prod_38699
