*Nope, still broke* HALP!!! DAZ Studio 4.9...My Default folder in Content Library disappeared!

I was reorganizing folders. 

DAZ crashed.

When it came back, all of the default folder was gone.

Mind you, I still can search by Products and Daz folders and Poser Folders but..

Under Categories, nothing is there.

What the hoo-ha?!?!!

    Do you get a complaint about not being able to connect to PostgreSQL when you launch DS?

    Nope. Nothing at all.

    Just nothing under Catagories in Content Library and Smart Content is utterly blank. I can still get to the files through Products but i just tried to open Genesis 3 and it tells me it isn't there.

     

    I was trying something new by making an extra file right by default rather than under it.

     

    In hindsight, this must be a big no-no. :(

    I restored fresh to another drive and now I see these errors occur multiple times when I open the program.... but that is nothing new

     

    And once it finally opens, it is still apparently broken. 8[

    What's funny is I spent over $300 at the DAZ store this week and can't use it. *laugh* ..... 8\ .... *cry!*

    Okay, by going through the directory, I was able to load a Genesis 3 figure, but let me take a screen cap and show you what I see in Content Library, Smart Content and Categories.

    Under Categories in the Content Library, it has no way for me to open a menu

    The content management system is obviously working, since you have the file type tags (like Actor on Genesis 3 Female). Try going to Edit>Preferences>Content tab and checking Show hidden Vendor Categorisations - does that at least get the defaults back?

    Unfortunately, it did not. :(

     

    Curiously, it will not allow me to create a new directory under Catewgories named "Default" or change an already new created one to that name.

    Also, when I did try to tell DAZ to take Genesis and Show in Smart Content > Files...

    I got this error...

    Under CMS Settings, the Cluster Directory is going to a file that does not exist on my computer for some reason.

    My json file was corrupt. I had to go back to an older version. At least I have a FRACTION of the structure I used to have back.

    *le sigh*

    Then this happened

     

    Now I cannot remove references, only add them in Catagories
