As with so many phrases, I don't think "most popular" means exactly the same thing to the sales team at DAZ as it does to anyone else in the English speaking world. Given that the list includes the Kids 4 bundle but not the far more popular M4 and A4 sets, and the G2F Morphs bundle but not the equivalent G3F Morph bundle (which by definition would almost have to be the single best selling G3F bundle), I'd venture that real meaning is probably much closer to "here are a handful of items that we most like to run on sale."
Sales-speak is an afront to the english language no matter the company.
It is so often, if not complete lies and fabrication, then an unusual interpretation that adverts do not get read.
I treat Daz ads the same; i look at the products, see what discount I can get on stuff I want, and if its enough buy; I sometimes read ads for their entertainment value.
Well it says "up to 70% off our most popular bundles!" it just doesn't add in "and also some other random bundles!" (My guess is the 3 most popular bundles of all time are most likely the Victorias.)

I own all the Genesis 3 bundles. No sale for me :( Those look like really good deals though.
I own most of them too...lol. Oh well, I can't complain. I got what I wanted when I wanted it ;)

Yeah I don't think they know what the word petite means. Eva is described as having a "petite small frame" yet she is 5'11" as well... Maybe they were going for an oxymoron? You know, like jumbo shrimp?

Unless the discount is more insane than mad, I wouldn't look twice at a Pro bundle. They usually come suffed with fantasy gear that is of no interest to me. The only one that stirred some interest was Ivan but I ended up buying the individual. not the bundle. I also agree with those who say that a Pro bundle should inculde the HD versions.
What final price do you have on the pro bundles? I can't seem to be able to get them to the $25 range that the others were yesterday.
That's because it's not the same sale as yesterday. This is just the usual 40% off/50% off with new release nonsense, so even with the Bonus Buyer discount added, it doesn't match the 70% off sales we get at least once a month on all DAZ Originals. .
And yet, conversely, the Base figures are horrifically over-priced. I used to automatically buy the Pro Bundles but, as you said, most of the Pro Sets as of late have been pretty weak. The way I look at it these days is that I KNOW that I'll be able to get everything in the Pro Bundle for at least 70% off within three months of it's release, so I go through and tick off the items that I seriously think I might use, add them up and then take off 70% off discount. If the discounted price on on the Pro Bundle is lower, then I'll pick it up. If not, I run the same analysis on the Starter Bundle. As it's worked out, I've been picking up a lot more starter bundles these days and skipping some figures entirely.

Most of us seem to think that Eva and Genevive are the new Stephanie. Someone claimed a while back that Daz mentioned discontinuing Stephanie for being too average/everyday-purposed, but I find that hard to believe. Selling multiple characters of the same theme hasn't been an issue for the past two generations, Stephanie is always the 3rd wheel to Victoria & Michael, and unlike the discontinued male bases, she actually sells well every generation. I would love to see a Stephanie 7 for no other purpose than to see her come with a David replacement, like how Aiko 7 did with Kenji after loosing Hiro. Hell, even Girl finally got Guy as her official partner, and he was originally a PA character!
