Hi, Kayleyss. Is it possible to have both looks available after update, the old one and the new as a separate settings?
If you copied the current morphs into a separate content folder and renamed them, you could preserve the existing dials.
Yes, that can be an option. May be if I can save it as a material preset, but I do not know if it preserves all of the maps.
Hi,
I will see what I can do to keep 2 separate head shapes.
I'll be back
many thanks, kayleyss!

I create a preset to smooth lower lip for Jenn and Trish. Here is how it works:
This preset change the Normal Map and ADD a morph that smooth the lower lip. It has to be apply after setting makeups because, if you apply makeup after the smooth preset, the old Normal Map will comeback.
So there will both the old morph by default, and possibility to smooth lower lip
Here attached Trish and Jenn with and without smooth
Beautiful. Thanks kayleyss :). For my part, I had no problem with the original lips, but it's nice you listen so well to your customers :D

Looks great!
Awesome! That looks really good! Thank you, Kayleyss!
I will be sure and post on my Art Studio thread too that new maps were provided in case anyone wanted those. Thanks so much!
Thanks
I have submit the corrections. When they will be online, I post a note here.
PS: just one thing, I am a man ;)
Thank you in advance, although I haven't noticed any of the mentioned problems yet (probably because I had no need for that high level of subd....)
Just another tryout with your Witcher characters (still a little too much noise in the image, but that's because of my choosen method of lighting...); I don't recall I ever used any character(s) as much in renders as I've done with these.......
LOL, we fixed that hours ago, a few minutes after the post. My avatar's a horse, so folks didn't know what I was for awhile either LOL.
You mean you're NOT a horse!?
Hsssssssssssssssssssssss... BOOM!
Hehe! it's ok :) Like you say it's hard to know how's behind the avatar :)
Hand over the carrots and nobody gets hurt!
Thanks a lot, kayleyss. There will be great to have such an update.
They are just image maps; although data can be destroyed when editting, what I am mainly doing is copying data from elsewhere; I save it as a new normal map so the original is still intact and test it out.
Use the clone brush; one thing i do most is get rid of eyebrows on normal maps as I'm using figremesh ones (yes I have Zev0's brow remover and use it). I have had success at correcting issues on seems, but that is more hit and miss.
... And sometimes, it just doesn't seem to work as well, and no clue why, but when that happens I live with it, or use the originals.
Hi everyone!
The update for Jenn and Trish should be online now
Great! Buttons to swap the Normal maps.
I thought it would be interesting to note that there is a big difference (about the size of that line) in the lip UVs for V7 and G3F. The Blue UV is for V7, Pink UV is G3. The transparent lips on top is from the makeup resource listed on both the Trish and Jenn readme pages. AND, if one is also creating a custom morph, those merchant resources could be chaos for any character. One could possibly have layers on top of layers of different peoples textures (some for V7, some for G3), saturation levels, tone levels etc. I may be way out in left field, but just an interesting note. :)
These are awesome characters! Good work Kayleyss. I picked up both of them. One in each arm :)
Hehe, it not only swap the Normal Maps; it also add a HD morph that smooth the bottom lip
Hi
Yes, Victoria 7 and Gemesis 3 female have diferent UVs (like most of the other Daz iconics figures). Trish and Jenn use Genesis 3 female resources, and they also use genesis 3 female UV. The reason they is "...for Victoria 7" in their title is because they use Victoria's morph ( body at 100% and head at 15%)
This line was an artistic choise. But, it appear that it was not to the taste of everyone. That's why I decide to create this smooth preset to lower the effect
I'm planning on getting https://www.daz3d.com/gwenbleiz-hd-and-beard-for-michael-7 today. Glad I decided to search the forums first. I've not thought about https://www.daz3d.com/gwennili-hd-for-victoria-7 until now. She seems hardend and will work in a lot of varying renders.
