Might be a dumb question...

I've been messing DAZ3d for a week or two now. I've been thinking what funtionality purpose can DAZ3d be used for?

But beyond that you could make comic books, graphic novels (sort of the same thing), illustrator, create art for your home's walls & such  or I suppose if you were well known or people liked your art sell your work for walls and such in businesses and what-not.

People also use Daz Studio to render book covers for Amazon (people that are good at it do it on commission), render portraits of their roleplaying characters, and render images for use on carnival ride wrappers (I've seen my own shirts for Michael 4 at a state fair, lol).

Yes daz can be very useful tool for Graphic artist . I have made

15  commissioned book covers for a bunch of authers on Amazon here is one of them. it would take me all day to hunt them all down..lol

72 assort cartoon animations just using daz studio  and 21 Karate Girl adventure in an anime animation series.

you can you use daz to create web site art such as web sites like these I did  http://www.farhorizonfarms.com/  http://www.reallifetaxidermy.com/.   and you can use daz for Illustrations for about everything else . Yes sir Daz has many practical uses in the real world.
