Hi everyone,
I bought Rust-icator a few years back and long story short, I was sorting through old purchasses when I came to it and decided to give it a go.
Thing is, when I click the pose file to apply, I get a message saying, "RuntimeError: Bad magic number in .pyc file" and other than that nothing happens.
I'm running Poser 11.

I suspect what you're seeing is a Python compiler error due to Python being updated with newer versions of Poser.
Is there a solution? Or just try to use an older Poser version?
Well I tried starting up the old Poser 9 and ever since I installed P11 the runtime in P9 has dissapeared. In the space that the runtime normally sits is a message to update flash. I've gone through that process of updating twice now, and the runtime is still missing for P9.
There was a problem with older versions of Poser and IE 11. There's a fix on Rendo somewhere - I can't remember was the fix is.

This is a version issue - compiled shaders don't work if the Python version is updated. Unfortunately I've a feeling even Poser 9 is too new, though I'm not certain of that. Sadly the code-writer, DragonStorm, died recently so there isn't going to be an update - you priobably need to get a refund.
That’s certainly unfortunate news about the artist.
Ah, well I doubt they will give a refund for the product as it has been years since I bought it.
I'll give that a go then.
Marieah partnered with DraagonStorm on the Rust product. Perhaps they can offer a bit of technical assistance. How does one go about contacting an artist/vendor here?
Rather than directly contacting the artist you should open a Technical Support ticket. Of course if the PA is active on the forum you can PM them, but that doesn't apply here.
Sounds good. Thanks!
