Fitting "Storm Queen" hat to G1

Has anybody tried autofit (or even manual positioning) to bring the hat from "Storm Queen Outfit for Genesis 2 Female(s)" ( https://www.daz3d.com/storm-queen-outfit-for-genesis-2-female-s ) to G1?   Just wondering how easy/hard that would be, or if it would be a lot of fiddling around, repositioning, and/or deforming.

    Parent, not conform. Load it. Push it into place. And then in the scene tab, open up the heirachy of the Genesis figure until you can get to the Head bone, drag the entry for the hat onto the Head. Easy-peazy.

    Or should be. Things like hats are often props and parenting them saves a lot of distortion.

    The G2 chin strap lines up ok to G1 when you parent it?

    Don't know, but can probably be adjusted with some scaling.
