I have Victoria the beginning. I thought I had Michael... was there one? I have 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 of each of them..and some reduced res characters from the early crew. But where is my M1 ???
I contacted DAZ support to see if I could get a copy, and they told me to send in a receipt of puchase, which I thought was a bit petty considering I have been a customer since the very beginning, and why would I have a receipt from 16 years ago anyway? I have over 3000 items in my product catalog ... one older than dirt character wouldn't be too much to ask for, especially since I know I bought him way back.....
Just want to render all of them.

I don't think he exists, in the same way Victoria 4 doesn't exist (just Victoria 4.2).
Folks did a lineup of all existing Michaels.
Also wikipedia says Michael 2 is Michael 1, for the most part.
Michael 2 is Michael 1 with new morphs (and new default textures). If you purchased Michael 1 it should be in your order history - the SKU is 3 so putting
sku::3
in the filter box should show it if it's there.
If you bought him, he should be there. I found mine :).

I put in Michael 1 and came up with 'Millenium Man' Michael 1 - I bought it back in 2001.
I bought him on September 8th, 2000. Wow....where does the time go? :P Oh, and without saying how much I paid for him (and back then, the texture was separate), that today's Pro bundles are a flippin' BARGAIN. LOL

I have M2 upgrade from M1 ... not sure if i need M1 to upgrade from?
I did have him for sure, but he does not come up in my product list ... he may have been a gift or bonus free download, which was going on a lot back then. I do have M2 upgrade from M1 and a separate M2 ...
i was just rendering V1 .. woow ... joint issues abound :)
I don't recall exactly what happened in 2003, but there was some change to the store and forums. As a result, my original purchases of Millennium Girls, Kaila, and San Francisco Hair are not listed in my order history. I got the mil girls as a freebie or in a bundle with the boys a couple years later and the others are dated enough I probably wouldn't use them much. Something similar may have happened to your M1.
You could try pointing that out, if you haven't.
true ... I wish there was just a checkmark to achknowldeg a post
Could have got him on a CD. There were some CDs of content that were either offered by brokers or included with magazines. I know that the book came with a fair amount of content, but not M1.
i might have him saved on a CD somewhaere. I have tons of them
i got rid of all my magazine CDs, but saved most of the decent content.
