Notice before removing items from shop?

I noticed that several products that existed a few months ago, are no longer in the store.

I may have missed something, but I don't remember having a banner, or any notice saying "this is your last chance, buy these now, because tomorrow they will be gone". Does Daz do such notices? If yes, where? If not, would it be possible to do something like this?

    More importantly, are such products still available for download even though they are no longer available for purchase? I would assume so, but we all know where that leads . . .

    I wish they would let uis know; but mostly they don't. The items just disappear one day either because they are archived or because the PA removed them.

    Yes. They remain in your product library and available for download.

    Items removed from the store do remain downloadable from your account.

    PA's sometimes give noice that they are removing items but not always.

    I could have a list of the items if I really wanted to, but that's not the point of my current "housekeeping", so I haven't kept track of them. (The base price of several items changed, that's what I'm updating now, and as a side effect I noticed that several other products that existed in, say January, are now completely missing.)

    I hope it was nothing in my wishlist that I was planning on getting soon

    one I can name is Tyranobot (looked like the Decepticon from the original Transformers cartoon Trypticon) bought it on day one was part of a promo for a sale but wasn't around long both the product and the creator disappeared from here but at least it is still in my product listing for redownload think there are a few products like that. We are lucky too cause many years ago when I first checked out daz you only had the option to download a product 5 times after that you had to pay for it again image

    That one may be a case of a PA changing stores. It is currently available over at Rendo and at VP

    Not quite right - downloads did have a count, but it was necessary only to request a (free) reset from Customer Services to get a new batch - and updates added new downloads, I think I had something-teen on the base figures by the end.

    Yeah, never have we had to pay to download anything from Daz....I'm an old fossil and have been around since the beginning ;).

    You've never had to repay to get more downloads.

    I know the Ola outfit was briefly offered here during the RDNA merger, before being moved to Rendo.  I picked it up in a $4 sale.  Unfortunately, it's buggy as hell, and will probably never be fixed because it wasn't supposed to be here in the first place.  I've managed to get about half of it to work so far.
