Just a heads up that the DIM seems to be down.

Sad face.

Chohole, I've always wondered....does it go to someone who sees it straight away when the store is off hours and closed?

If logged in (and I still was) - content was available by manual login.

Attempting to log in with the install manager not working at this time.  Given that I had just logged in earlier there is a middling probability that...

User ID for users that is in the cache for DAZ is still working?  Since Install Manager is a separate access, it isn't getting its LDAP or AD Service information and doesn't get the cached data.

If you haven't been in lately, you're SOOL until someone gets to reset whatever part is broken and... crossing fingers... it is not too very broken.

That's my SWAG at this, and I'd bet heavier on network than DB itself in trouble.. but that's more of a toss-up.   Some poor sod who is a lot like me is probably already awake and trying to sort out what part of it got zorched.   Me...  I reckon its time for me to go to bed.  :-)    Not likely to come good for another 15 minutes or not likely to come good for at least another 3 hours.   Depends on what happens when it gets reconnected.

    Good Luck

    ciao

    BJ

If you don't want to wait for DIM/Daz Connect login to work...

Go to your Product Library and do a Manual Download of the DIM installer to your DIM Download folder.  Launch DIM and select "Work Offline" to open DIM without a login.  The manually download product should show up in the Ready To Install tab after it finishes refreshing it's available installers.

For those that install with Daz Connect, from your Product Library, download the Daz Connect Offline Package and Authorization File to your Daz Connect  Cloud/Install folder.  Within DS, select "Install Off Line products" from the Active Pane Options Menu.

That didn't seem to work for me? I downloaded both the authorization file and the offline package straight to data/cloud and then clicked "install offline package". I still can't see them either in smart content tab or in the content tab.

OH WAIT! they have to be downloaded to data/cloud/install - i didn't have an 'install' folder so i created it, and put the two files in there. And by jingo, it worked! Thanks Lindsey!

panicked for nothing, after 2 minutes... studio started..

If internet is down, you CAN work in daz studio. But you won't be able to download something you have purchased from the store. Daz studio works completely as normal if you're not logged in - it's just purchases you can't d/l.

Yup.  Can't login to DIM.  I thought something was wrong and tried changing my username and password in my account.  Still can't get in.

curious....is anyone manually downloading from the store site? (Product Library). Just wondering if it's me, or if it's really really REALLY slow download speeds? (287mb = 5 hours left)

Just tried and I'm getting my usual download speeds, nothing slow here (170MB took about 20 seconds).

  • jakibluejakiblue Posts: 7,281

I"M IN!!!!!!!!! I'm in the mainframe!!!

ha. Ok, was able to log into DAZ studio and can now download.

I can log in to DIM but its not finding my new content.  its like its not even there.

  • I can finally log in via DIM, but it is blank. (The order from this morning shows on my account under Orders, but DIM doesn't seem to see it.) I can download manually, but would prefer to do it via the install manager so everything is done properly.
