Na, happy to share ideas and info. lf someone else can take somethig from anything I share, combine it with whatever else, run with it and come up with a usefull end product. Yay.
Are you planning on organizing this from a Daz 3D Forums, Commons thread?
well this is a place of like minded people. If you go into a game forum you pretty much get flamed for asking questions even. There's a lot of game snobbery! People here are helpful and innovative. To me that is the most fertile soil to work in.
You would maybe be better moving this to the Art Studio, where it is far less likely to get buried.

got asked about 3 years ago now if I was interested in submitting renders for a card game they wanted to create and sell don't know what happened with that. Like another said here I got no friends to play with with table top and card games but I love the concepts and yeah there are a lot of computer/video game versions out there too of card and tabletop. As I've mentioned several times love Warhammer and Warhammer 40.000 franchises and well pretty much anything fantasy, sci fi and horror and I follow a lot of these being created and spoken of on facebook as they are being created. This one your creating and I could be wrong in what your thinking sounds like a cross between H.P. Lovecraft (big fan), Silent Hill, Twilight Zone (and its type) and a splattering of Ash VS the Evil Dead, Kolchak the night stalker - still gotta see this old detective show solved supernatural cases. Grimm oh so many more oh did you know there is going to be a tv series set in Castle Rock where a lot of Stephen King's stories are set. This is kinda how I picture your idea a normal looking place but really something like Silent Hill with cults, creatures other worldly Lovecraftian dimenstions and creatures and old 1950s style horror sci fi weirdness there are a lot of characters and creatures on here perfect for something like this either as is or kitbashed
What kind of board game? I've been a table top gamer of different kinds since before Columbus (or at least it feels that way)
Basically I am hoping to create a board game that mixes in some rpg and ccg elements. My preferred genres are superheroes and dark investigation (ala xfiles, call of Cthulhu). The board would be the map of the scenario and the cards would represent random elements that aid or hinder your mission.
...I've played Champions,Marvel Superheroes and Call of Cthulhu as well as Changeling the Lost so very familiar with both heroes and intrigue in a game setting. Currently involved in a Shadowrun campaign that mixes in elements from X-Com.
Count me in. I have been playing board and card games for 45 years and D&D/DTRPG/Pathfinder stuff since 1978. Have helped with a few games and card decks and published a few more.
Working on a Sci-Fi DTRPG out of Australia with a group right now... KickStarter this fall.
I did some maps for Axis & Allies Miniatures a couple of years ago, rendered in Vue though and sold through Scrying Eye Games,
I've also used DAZ Studio to render props to use with Dundjinni (which was wht draw me to DAZ Studio in the first place). Now Dundjinni is "dead" and it looks like Map Forge will take the throne (the kickstarter seems very promising).

Definitely agree about game forums, gave them up years ago.
DAZ commons (or art studio) seem a great place to create interest and general conversation but if you get the ball rolling the lineal posting setup could be a bit of limitation. Yoy may want to consider one of the free website/forum generators for nutting stuff out then reporting back here.

Yes I was making a joke. I apologize for the confusion.
Ok I will try to find out how to do that.
Cant you just ask one of the mods to move it?
You click on the icon on your first post, select edit and then change the category over on the left hand side

Just an idea.
