G3F Shoes on GenX2'ed characters "warp"

While I get step by step into bringing myself (and my Generation 4 runtime) to DAZ, I stumbled on the next stone. I bought GenX2 and am able now to bring my V4 and M4 characters to G3 - Huuuray! Cloth works pretty good, besides shoes. They just warp!

Example is a good old DAZ Elite "Utopian" morph brought to G3F and "OOT's Sexy Pumps" loaded. Gosh - the result is not really sexy.

Tried the different available tutorials, but as they are usually about getting Gen4 shoes to G3... I failed miserably.

Any hints? Tips? Point me to some tutorial? Thanks in advance - everything is much appreciated.

    Hi

This problem is caused by the the zeroed foot position of the base V4 shape transferred over by GenX. You can see when you first apply it that the feet are pointed down.

To solve it you need to have a flat foot V4 shape. The easiest way to get one is to transfer the V4 shape from Genesis using GenX, then apply that at the same tme as the Genesis base.

To go a step further you can pose the feet, hands and limbs to match G3F exactly, export an obj file from that and then re-import it as a new morph, getting you back to only having to set one dial again. Remember to adjust rigging to shape and perform an ERC freeze before saving as a morph asset. This new shape will help when applying poses.
