"Genesis to Poser CR2" is this needed now to use Genesis in Poser?

        The DSON importer that is installed by Install Manger lets you use Genesis characters and objects (clothing, hair, etc) in Poser.   It will automatically import them if you add the My Daz3d Library to the Poser Libraries.

    The catch is, DSON needs poser companion files (pcf) to fully work. If the genesis(2) items don't have that DSON will not fully work. But with D3D's DSON loader script, you can import items without pcf files, although you probably have to adjust the materials in Poser.

    Not sure if the ..cr2 product adds additional functionality to the import....

        You can tell if the object/character can be used by Poser by looking for Poser in the Compatible Software section of the product.

    If you have Daz Studio installed as well you can if I remember right create Poser companion files for products that don't have them..
