Where do I go to get rid of my 980ti? Are there better options than eBay?

I'm wondering if there is a better option than eBay? I feel like there is a lot of fraud on there and it's not as safe of a community as it used to be. Any opinions?

I bet you could sell it here. How much would you think was reasonable?

What is a 980ti? I'm a Mac user looking for a cheap Windows computer that can use IRay and has upgradable RAM and am kind of an expert on Macs but completely clueless about Windows...

it's a type of graphics card, usually for desktop computers.

For anything over a few hundred, which your 980ti would certainly fetch, I'd try Craigslist first. Deal in-person. Have the card installed in something and running when the buyer gets there. You'll get more money for it.

There is a little more risk in having someone visit your home, of course. If your employer is amenable, you could meet the buyer there.

I'm afraid that would violate the forum rules and I don't want that!

That's some good information to keep in mind!

Keep an eye on bensbargains.com -- but change the filters at the top to only show deals on desktop computers. There was a great Dell on there today for 629$ I think. A great base to build on!

Thanks, but that's still way out of my price range, unless it includes an NVIDIA card and 32GB RAM and a monitor. I've been told I can get a new PC for around $450 but then need the NVIDIA card for about $200 and extra RAM.  Since I'd only be using it for rendering Daz and keeping my Mac as my main computer for everything else, I need it to be as cheap as possible! My Mac is great, 32GB RAM, 27 inch 5K screen, I love my Mac and hate Windows but need something that I can do renders on that won't take forever...! Feel free to PM me if you think what you are selling may fit my needs...

Yes, we would have to remove any thread offering an item for sale like that. Sorry.
