I bought the inked tattoos from shanas soulmate. When rendering they turn out brown redish instead of black.
Everything seems fine in the lie editor.

I don't happen have those for G3 so I don't think I can help. But it couldn't hurt to add render so someone who can help can see exactly what you are talking about as far as the color of the tattoos. You might also add a link to the specific tattoo package that is giving you problems as that vendor has several tattoo products.
The only ones that I have from that vendor are the G2 tattoos. I haven't picked up any of the ones for G3 yet.
I have vol 10, and when rendering in IRay they look a little washed out - I'm not sure if that's just the specific model I'm using though. I'm using PD3's Angel with her IRay materials. I'm at work right now, so I can't post a render until I get home.
