Boots for Genesis 3 male- which are individual so they can be loaded separately?

I've been wanting to some poses putting on some modern or futuristic combat boots. But so many load in pairs with communal textures, that I can't remove the opacity without affecting the other to hide one.  The only thing I can think to do is do one render with boots and another without.

Are there any modern boots that load indiviudally so undressing is possible for Genesis 3 male?

Something like Smay's tactical boots would be good.

Any other suggestions? I''ve found sneakers which do this, but can't find military or combat-style boots which work. But maybe I'm missing one.

Easiest way is to select the bones and hide that way.

Have you tried hiding the left or right feet/toes/shin nodes on a pair of boots in the scene view?

Hmm. Thanks for the suggestion. Never tried that before. That almost works for the tactical boots but there is one piece in common called 'soft top' that is part of both boot, you can kind of see floating above the sock there on the left leg. I will try a different pair of boots. I kind of like Smay's style though. Would like to use something similar.

Ues the Geometry Editor to get rid of that extra piece.

I've separated fiber eyebrows to get a better fit, by loading them twice and using the Geometry Editor to select, hide, and delete the unwanted brow for each instance. If you don't need both boots in the scene, you'll only need to hide the other boot. I use the lasso selection type when the polys I want to remove are not connected to those I want to keep. If you just want to hide the surfaces, rather than delete, be sure and create a new surface with selected and hide the new surface by clicking on the eye icon in the Tool Settings tab. Otherwise the other boot will show when you reopen the file.
