dsf files ... accessible?

I had a crash that took out a number of my original objects...
but the auto-adapted folder seems to have some dsf files that relate to them and wondering if it's possible to get my data back

    if you have the Dimension 3D dsf toolkit you can create an obj from the dsf files

    thanks... I picked it up a long time ago.. just haven't had time to play with it... but it looked like a good investment...
