Sorry if this is gross but can anyone help point me in the direction of where I can find something which would help me add a high velocity effect of saliva flying out someones mouth after being struck in their gut? I'm not able to find anything for daz with this. Can anyone recommend something that allows this effect for daz? ty.

Well, the effect of flying salvia itself can be achieved (if you use Iray) by using http://www.daz3d.com/rigged-water-iray
The High Velocity is a bit more difficult in Iray. There's one product: http://www.daz3d.com/motion-blur-for-iray
If you are working in 3Delight, it's a bit easier. The water mentioned above is also available for 3DL: http://www.daz3d.com/rigged-water
The motion blur effect in Iray can be achieved by setting several frames in the animation tab, where you'd just change the position of the drops slighty in the director they are supposed to blur. In the render settings, there's a motion blur setting where you'd select the frames that cover the motion, and the strength of the blur effect. When the render is done, it includes the blur.
Or you could just add it in post, if it's a still image. All of Deviney's PSD brushs are on sale right now, like http://www.daz3d.com/rons-water
You'll get a good spit effect using smay's Addon for zombie with a water shader http://www.daz3d.com/add-on-for-zombie
and then you can add a bit more details using one of Ron Deviney's postwork brushes for the really small saliva capulets. Try either Ron's water splashes or the War Essentials, both have those.
