Question about a HDRI Lighting Pack

I am interested in buying this but I was hoping to get some info first. I do have a different HDRI set that allows you to use the lights seperatly from the back ground. Does anyone know if this is possible with this particular light set? The scenes are nice but i have my own environments that I'd like to use while still taking advantage of the lighting.

    If you switch off dome display, you can use them just as any other hdri.

    but you won't get any dome reflections say in water, glass etc with the dome off. With Iray the HDRI is the background and light source.
