Help with Iray render speeds?

I've been using redshift and cycles.. but I got tired of the workflow from daz to houdini and blender. So I started using Iray and my render times are like 20x longer.

I'm using two 1070 and a 980ti. Anyway to make it faster? I've set it to speed mode and using optix.

Another scene I was testing took 30 minutes before it was nice enough to downsample, in cycles it took 5 minutes.

    2 X 1070 taking longer....you don't say what version of Daz Studio you are using, as 1000 series cards only became usable in the latest release.

    Your posted render doesn't look like an IRAY render to me, looks more 3Delight; for example no shadows under things. Are you sure you have Iray selected in the render options?  I guess you do because the log extract you post says IRAY but it also says render completed in 2 and a half minutes which is pretty good.  Can you provide some more specifics?  What your render settings are, for example?

    I usually use default settings with speed optimization set to scene only lighting and, using mesh lights.
