Need a pale/pastey skin for a male character Have Paintshop Pro How? DS 4.9

Trying to change skin color on DS 4.9.  Need a pastey white skin for a one off character.  I tired to change the color values in the surfaces tab in DS 4.9 burt did not seem to work or I changed the wrong ones.  Don't need a new skin, just changing the skin tone for his one character.  Also need to add makeup for this one character using the L.I.E.  Which face layer should I copy to make the makeup layer with?

Thanks,

What you are trying doesn't work well. Adjust the translucency weight in the surfaces tab way down - values close to zero make the skin light while higher values let more of the transluicency color through which is additive to the diffuse texture and color so makes the character appear darker. That's what worked best for me. Others use other methods.

Or you could just buy Snowflake for Aiko 7 and if it's a male, Slosh G3F / G3M UV Swapper.

If you have Paintshop Pro you can just bring the texture maps into there and adjust the colors and lightness in that art program - just make sure to change the name of the file when you save it, that way you don't overwrite the original maps.

As for the L.I.E. - I answered in your other thread: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/2081361/#Comment_2081361

(I thought I'd post the link in case anyone else was curious about how to use the Layered Image Editor too.) :)
