LDP Has stop rendering all together since the update of daz to 4.9 pro version, any ideas anyone.

this dos not work any more since the update.
I think it's because Lightdome Pro is meant for 3DL lighting. Studio will default to Iray. Old domes block the Iray environmental lighting. If you make sure that you have the Engine setting to 3Delight (Render Settings tab) you should be fine.
Tried that before posting this thread, sorry should have mention it before, i also used some older props that were design for 3 delight before iray came on the scene. No matter what i do it dosn't work.
I've been ready else where on the web about Daz3d, they recon it can be a rip off buying things from this site as they soon become redundant, you can not use them on the new genesis 3 models or you have to jump through hoops to get sets from older models to work in iray renders,
I was just thinking about it recently, wondering if it still works with the latest update. So I just tested it with a simple scene (no extra lighting in the Custom folders) and it rendered successfully, using the latest version of DS 4.9.3.166 Pro Edition, 64-bit. It generated the 7 standard images that I expected. Here is a screen shot of 3 of them:
Did you render through the LDP-R Camera using the "Render LDP-R" menu option under the Render menu? It doesn't work using the normal Daz Studio render button.
Thank you very much.....yeh , i tried everything, I've even uninstalled all of daz products and softwares, re install them and it still dosn't work, Don't know whats happening or how to solve it. I just keep getting this. see attached file.
Well... Solved ( i think )..... I re downloaded the 4.9 public beta version of daz,,, and its working in that vesion..... NO matter waht i do in the pro only version it wont work, don't know whats going on there but will stick with the public version as everything works in that vesion.
I'm also at this time testing LDP-R on the iray settings as it looks as though its rendering on this as well.... will let you know if works ok on iray.... Thanks.
LDP-R was designed to be used with 3Delight, not Iray.
Thank you....Yes I know... it was the software that was the problem, and not LDP-R, It works fine in the beta public version.... id did not work in iray...just thought i would give it a go.
STILL DOSN'T WORK,
Does any one know if Light Dome Pro-R works with Daz 4.10 pro 64bit. i know on the product page it says it is compatable. however my whole daz application crashes when i hit render button. i bought the first light dome pro and nothing install only a folder with some skydomes nothing else. i then bought and installed Pro-R, i follow the tutorial but dont have half the content that is in Dreamlight folder. I know u have to use this with 3delight, again that was not stated on the product page i only found out by threads. Even changing to 3delight the whole system crashes. So i have wasted enough money on lighting and i have now bought 2 dream light dome pro's that dont work on my system. Do i need to down grade to Daz 4.10 non pro version if that possible, or change to Daz 4.10 32bit. i have no idea how to contact dreamlight directly.

It worked for me in some situation and not in other (always Daz Studio pro 64bit)...Dreamlight never answered me and that's it...now I'm on with Iray and I don't think about. If you just bought it and don't find a way for let it works ask Daz for refound. Just for know, did you installed it throug DIM?
yes i installed it via DIM. Then i did a manual install. is DIM not good?
