underwater sand dust effect?

This might not be something likely I can get but its worth asking. I'm doing a Daz scene underwater of a submarine's rear propella in motion near the ocean sand bed. I want to try and add some effect of the sand being disrupted only a few feet under the propella's so it looks like its being disturbed and moved around in a sort of "airsand dust effect" underwater to give the impression the propella is really moving above. The prop will look like its moving after I add a motion blur effect to the props blades but I think this sand effect would add to it a lot. Anyone think of a product of some sorts that could help do this effect? thankyou.

Sounds more like a job for postwork. But there may be something in the various atmospheric props packages.
Possibly you could use something like http://www.daz3d.com/rons-steam-and-smoke , or a similar product. While 2D, they can be applied to planes and arranged in a few layers within the 3D scene so as to wedge the propeller in the middle, if you didn't want to go the postwork route. Depending on lighting and shadows this may or may not work out as well.
You might also be able to use your image editor to ad a slight swirl to some of the smoke if that would make sense, depending on how close the blades are to the sand.
Not released yet, but worth checking out....

Perhaps you can create the effect with Godrays?
I've used the Philosopher's Epic Godrays to get a dusty underwater look. You might need something else for the bits around the propeller. But, since you can scale the effect prop to whatever size you require, I'd suggest using two godray props...like a large low one for the sandy water, and a compact sphere or cylinder immediately around the propeller or just below it to simulate the closer proximity effect.
The new Efx Elements that just was released has a nice whirlwind prop that could be used in place of the godray prop, but shaded with the dust particles.
