IRay Render profiles?

Is there a way to save the settings in the IRay render tab? Just a simple example: every time I open a new scene I need to go to the render tab and adjust the pixel filter settings to avoid that "soft focus" look in the render. I have tried using the favourite icon on the parameter but that's not saved (in fact, I have no idea what that does).

    You can either save a Render Settings preset and just apply it each time (It allows you choose which portions of the render settings you want to save to the preset) OR adjust your render settings on a blank scene, save it and have Studio startup with that scene loaded.

    Thank you so much. I've been away from this for several months and I'm forgetting all the obvious solutions. Getting embarrassing.
