Anyone use Movie Maker? or know about it?
I was searching an area of the store I haven't looked into much.
Software and add-ons etc....
I came across this line of products....

"With rendering times measured in seconds per frame (down to 1-2 sec per frame at 1280 x 720 on a 64 bit machine), you're now able to put your visions on the screen and get them alive like never before.
Lights, camera and... ACTION!"
Sounds to good to be true, but it appears that these are STATIC backdrops that are NOT 3-D environments....
Is that correct? I assume I make the floor and people and this is always somewhere far in the distance behind my...set.
Same company makes this, which looks like 3-D set, but it names no props and usually I use props to gauge what I'm actually getting.

And this looks like a great value if this is an actual 3-d set that characters can walk around in, except shouldn't props list things like trees etc....?
Unless I'm reading these products wrong....
This is the same product ...family, but it names props so it must be 3-d

Slightly confused about these products and how they would work and be of value in the future.

Comments
they are basically 360° renders of sets you place your action in, like an iray or uber environment dome with a rotating camera setup.
The others are sets combined with backdrops, I only have the pit and realise never loaded it think got it on sale.
Yep, Wendy is correct. And I think they come with camera angle presets. The time savings in rendering is from the pre-rendered back grounds.

A sample movie:
As the 3dDigit said they are 2D 360° renders that are placed on the dome. Besides the scenes that come with the basic Movie Maker you can purchase additional sets or you can make your own using this: http://www.daz3d.com/movie-maker-maestro-create-for-fun-or-cash There is also a guide for making the backgrounds: http://www.daz3d.com/movie-maker-the-official-guide-how-to-make-your-own-backgrounds
Where are the freebies at the HDRlabs.com site? I searched and found nothing. You don't mean from the galleries do you?
I love the Yosemite packs. They are in the cart.
Anything like those with sci-fi themes, hopefully at a comperable price?
Wishlisted the Firstbastion and will explore when on sale.

Can the Yosemite packs be used with the Iray dome? I have pack one but thought it was for 3DL renders only.
I use them
