Anyone use Movie Maker? or know about it?

I was searching an area of the store I haven't looked into much.

Software and add-ons etc....

I came across this line of products....

Sounds to good to be true, but it appears that these are STATIC backdrops that are NOT 3-D environments....

Is that correct? I assume I make the floor and people and this is always somewhere far in the distance behind my...set.

 

Same company makes this, which looks like  3-D set, but it names no props and usually I use props to gauge what I'm actually getting.

And this looks like a great value if this is an actual 3-d set that characters can walk around in, except shouldn't props list things like trees etc....?

Unless I'm reading these products wrong....

Slightly confused about these products and how they would work and be of value in the future.

    they are basically 360° renders of sets you place your action in, like an iray or uber environment dome with a rotating camera setup.

    The others are sets combined with backdrops, I only have the pit and realise never loaded it think got it on sale.

    Yep, Wendy is correct. And I think they come with camera angle presets. The time savings in rendering is from the pre-rendered back grounds.

    As the 3dDigit said they are 2D 360° renders that are placed on the dome.     Rendering at 720p would be faster for me too but I prefer to render at 1080p or even 2K or 4K eventually. DAZ Studio on its own does a fine job of rendering. If I use a skydome from FirstBastion or Stonemason, those work just as well. Heck, its basically just a sphere surrounding your scene with a picture of clouds or some other scene on it. Check out whats available for free for instance at HDRlabs.com And look at their smart ibl. Here at DAZ the HDR ProSets Yosemite Pack One and Two are exquisit. At 1.99 each if your are PC+ member, you can't go wrong. This is his cloud city but using Age of Armor fog. I find Dreamlight's fog and lights to be too complicated. His sets are a paperweight. They are nice and big in size (gb or mb) but other than that, non functional.

    Where are the freebies at the HDRlabs.com site? I searched and found nothing. You don't mean from the galleries do you?

    I love the Yosemite packs. They are in the cart.

    Anything like those with sci-fi themes, hopefully at a comperable price?

    Wishlisted the Firstbastion and will explore when on sale.

    Can the Yosemite packs be used with the Iray dome? I have pack one but thought it was for 3DL renders only.
