Questions about Dimension3D's content gatherer

Hi all,

I travel a lot for work and my content library is much too large for my laptop. I;m looking for a product that will wrap up all the needed content so I can drop it ontop my laptop with a smaller footprint. Setting up a scene via RDP / teamviewer / you name it is an impossible task so I'd like to be able to load up all the stuff I want in a scene, transfer that load to my laptop, pose it, transfer it back and render it on my home machine.

 

Dimension3D's content gatherer looks like it will do the trick, but I vaguely remember reading somewhere that it doesn't work with newer version of DS.

 

Does anyone know if it does what I want and works with the current version of DS?

    It does not work on content installed with Daz Connect.

    I believe it is because it doesn't understand the "cloud" directory structure, but that is a guess on my part. I really only know that I could not get it to work (although it worked flawlessly for me before Daz Connect came along). I submitted a help request but did not get any help. They simply told me that it was written before Daz Connect and might not work.
