Matching a pose from a photo

Hi there.
I was wondering (and excuse if this has been brought up before, I couldn't find any mention of it), is there a way to match a pose from a photograph? More to the point, is there a way that I could load the photo into Daz so that I could use it as reference without having to save a render, layer it over the photo in Gimp, and then try to fix what is off back in the studio itself.

You can load the photo as a texture on a plane primitive (Create>New Primitive, set type to plane and adjust the size to be roughly right - probably 2m high; select the plane; in the Surfaces pane - Window>Panes(Tabs)>Surfaces - click the little box to the left of the colour picker for Diffuse colour, select browse..., and load your picture).
