Alien Ridge on Genesis

So since I updated my Daz Studio my genesis figures all load with the cranial ridge morph at 100%.  I know what the problem is however, I can't seem to get it to STAY turned off.  Which is causing me problems in Carrara since its pulling from my Daz library.  Not to mention that it just shouldn't be doing that.  Any ideas how to get that to stay at 0 when Genesis loads?  It was working fine on Thursday with no issue. I upgraded to the newest 4.9 version and now its doing this.  Its affecting all of the characters.

Can you resave the figures without it or ditch the morph?

I will have to give that a try. I have no idea how to delete a morph.  I would be fine with deleting it as I never use it.

look inside your Data file>DAZ 3d>Genesis>Base>Morphs for the offending morph.

Turn on edit mode in the parameters panel and find the morph in that same panel (edit mode is under the 4 lines with the arrow icon), then right click over the morph and delete. Turn off edit mode. Be careful with it....you can't get it back unless you uninstall and reinstall your genesis figure morphs.

Thank you!  This is not the first time that particular morph has gotten "stuck" and this is far easier than uninstalling and installing. And if it shows up again I will hit the Data file.

  • Just Close DAZ Studio,  move it from >DAZ 3d>Genesis>Base>Morphs  to >DAZ 3d>Genesis>Morphs  and reopen DAZ and it should not be applying by default.  Not sure it this will change saved figures.
