With the absorption of the RDNA store there are a lot of nice M4 and V4 skins showing up at great prices. There is this to use M4 skins on G2M:http://www.daz3d.com/michael-4-for-genesis-2-male and this to use M4 skins on G3M:  http://www.daz3d.com/legacy-uvs-for-genesis-3-michael-4

Are there any comparable products for using V4 skins on G2F and G3F?

Cayman Studios has products at Rendo that allow V4 textures and GF2 textures to be used on GF3, they were the first of the line to be released. Don't know of any product that allows V4 textures on GF2.

Thanks. I wonder why Cayman studios didn't bring it over to DAZ to go with rest of their UV conversion products.

Victoria 4 for Genesis 2 Female allows you to use V4 textures on Genesis 2 Females. It also gives G2F a V4 clone and lets you use V4 clothes on G2F. It's a great product that I highly recommend for anyone who uses G2F. :)

There is a batch converter for V4 textures to G2F.

You must also have the product Diva linked for it to work. But it works very well! It converts entire folders, just keep in mind if you do a bunch of figures in one folder it can take a very long time, I do just one figure at a time. It will convert all the textures, including makeup options and any alternate skin textures, and they work exactly like they are supposed to. With this, you do not need the Cayman items with these. Also, as Cayman adds these weird new surface zones, you do not have to worry about making sure all the zones are in sync with each other if like tweaking the surface settings.

There is a M4 to G2M version as well.

Getting textures to G3 is trickier. There is no batch converter for that. Why, I don't know, because I'd drop $50 on one right now if it existed. Anyway Cayman's items are one of the better options. There is also this tutorial:

I use blacksmith's texture transformer to get V4 skins on G3F and G2F on to G3F as long as the G2  is done on the base female, haven't figure out how to do the V5 UV ones that seem to be the majority G2F is based off of so far haven't noticed any streching issue on the transformed ones.

Batch converter does not convert textures, it converts the older material presets to the new DSON format that can be applied to Genesis 2 Female.  Note the Require Products for it.

I have converted many V4 Skin textures to G2F.

If you purchase Victoria 4 for Genesis 2 Female then you can just apply V4 skin presets that are in DUF format to G2F.  The problem is that almost no V4 skin presets are in DUF format. The best way to get them in DUF format is to apply them to V4 and then do a Save As -> Material Preset to create the preset in DUF format.  If you don't have V4, you can use Genesis which is free but if you have V4 it is better to use V4.

When you apply the skin preset to G2F that you saved from V4, the skin will not correctly line up. Don't Panic.  This is because the UVs are wrong. V4 does not support multiple UVs, so when you save a material preset from V4 it specifies default UVs.  The default UVs for G2F are the G2F base UVs.  To fix this all you need to do is select all the surfaces and find the UVs drop down in the surface properties (location in list depends on what shader is used, but usually near the bottom).  It will say Base Female and you want to change that to Victoria 4. (If Victoria 4 is not on the list, this probably means you don't have Victoria 4 for Genesis 2 Female) installed.

If you have the G2F Genitials, the V4 texture can also be directly applied to it.

The same thing applies to M4 textures on G2M.  You will need Michael 4 for Genesis 2 Male. The only difference is that M4 genital textures cannot be automatically transfered to G2M genitials. There are some threads on how to do manual conversions, but I have never attempted that.

For G3F there is the Cayman studio product at Rendo and Blacksmith's texture transformer also at Rendo. I have not used either. The Cayman Studio product claims to support G3F genitials.  I could not find anything about genitials in the texture transformer description.
