Is there a clone between Daz Horse 2 and the Hivewire Horse?

I own both Daz Horse 2 and the Hivewire Horse and would love to exchange items and even textures between them.

I would also like to be able to fit Millenium Horse items and textures to both as well.

    No clones and very little collaborative effort between Daz3d and Hivewire.  So, I doubt that there will be one.

    Thanks.  I found this tutorial for creating my own clone, so I will go that route and create my own.

    Incidentally, I had found the thread with a clone between the Mil Horse and Daz Horse 2, but the file was an .rte and wouldn't open.

    I would be very interested to see if this works. I love the Hivewire horse's textures too.

    I wonder if one of the new animals we are getting will be a horse? I would love to have a horse with a winter coat and whiskers from LAMH- but I've never gotten it to look right.

    I downloaded and used the RTEncoder against the milhorseobj and it unzips and works

    have to manually copy surfaces off and harness fits

    I just checked over at the Hivewire forum.  One of the developers had submitted a package to Hivewire to fit tack from multiple horses to Harry at the beginning of this month. 

    I don't want to violate the terms, so I won't post the link here but I can tell you where to find it.

    Naturally I found this after I had spent some time getting Harry to confirm to DH2...

    It's tedious and I still needed to do the Dformers, but why reinvent the wheel?  Here's where I left off.  Took me a couple of hours to tweak.  I like the concept, though and may try it for other figures... Maybe Daz Big Cat to Hivewire Big Cat...?

    Here's a pic of my halted progress - DH2 is green and Harry is red.

    The problem is that Daz3D has no version control at all. I DL the Freebie and tried it and got the error. So I went back to the original files and checked to see if there was a different version of the blMilHorse.obj and sure enough there is.

    Make sure that you are using the file dated 6/8/2004. size = 7,572,472 bytes, CRC32 =  8836CD81

    I don't know whether the other file I have is from the Mil Horse LE or from some other release.

    Unfortunately, downloading the latest file may not work because there is no way of knowing that the latest .obj is the one the person who made the freebie used.

    I have had success with the Tack Conversion Kit offered at Hivewire.  Here is Harry wearing DH2's Ceremonial armor:
