in New Users

1) The items that install to 'Account' rather than a chosen runtime; if I ever have to reload Daz Studio, how will I remember which of these products out of potentially hundreds I'll need to reinstall?

2) Related question; do lights need to go into main program?

    I'm not sure what you mean by installing to your account - to the application folder? Or do you mean the Daz Connect stuff in your Documents folder?

    Application folder through DIM..

    Right, if you click the little icon next to the filter text box at top-right of DIM you will be able to filter by type of content , among other things. If you limit it to scripts, shaders, and plug-ins that will be a way to narrow the list of items down (still over-inclusive, but not by as much). As far as I know those are the only types of item that might place files in the application folder.
